Obsessing over your YouTube subscription numbers is worse than watching paint dry

Honesty starts at home people.
I spend quite a bit of time each week working on Paint to Life because as I was once told, if you're not going to spend the time to do something right, don't do it at all.
The feedback I've gotten from my close friends and mentors has been positive, and reading comments from random people who like my jam are absolutely heaven for me.
I think that has in turn broken me a bit.
I want to reach as many people as possible, as fast as possible.. and with episode 9: Zariel, and then a weekend of marketing myself across multiple platforms and sites, and despite hundreds of positive reviews... to not see ANY increase in viewership on YouTube has depressed me.
It's pretty lame I'm sure, but I set goals for myself, one being 300 subscribers by August- and this slowdown in traffic appears to me as a harbinger of future failure to meet those goals.
Case in point, no one is actually reading this. :)
That said, I feel inspired for putting it down on "paper".
I make Paint2Life for my friends, fellow DM's and people who love a good story, and even if that's all that ever get to see it- so be it :)
Additionally, I just found out they are making a remake of Steven King's "THE STAND", which also fills me with Joy!
Thank you my friends,
GM Atank
